Clit Sucker Toys – LELO Sona 2 Cruise vs. Womanizer Premium

5/5 - (18 votes)

Did you know that clit suckers don’t actually involve any “sucking”? They use air pulse to send vibrations into the clitoris, without touching it directly like a vibrator. Not only will they push you over the edge, they’ll keep pushing your peak for bigger orgasms. See the Womanizer Premium review and Lelo Sona 2 Cruise review below.

LELO SONA vs Womanizer

Womanizer Premium

★★★☆☆

Womanizer Premium is a solid clit sucker with many fancy bells. It contains Smart Silence technology, which means the toy doesn’t turn on unless it’s against the skin. The toy will also shut off when it’s removed from skin. It also has an Autopilot button, which allows the toy to control its settings in a random manner. One of Sona’s settings is also randomized, but Womanizer Premium has it as a separate function altogether.

Womanizer Premium’s air pulses feel more like a beat, or a thumping sensation. While on the surface it feels strong, the sensation didn’t seem to go as deep as Sona, so if you’re someone who prefers more intensity on the tip of your clit, this could be a good option.

Womanizer Premium comes with 2 detachable heads and covers more anatomies than Sona, which could be helpful if you don’t know where your clit is located. It’s easy to clean the heads since they’re detachable, but I found cleaning the actual toy more difficult because the mouth goes more narrow at its end. Use a qtip and some hand soap.

Although Womanizer Premium costs $50 more than Sona, it comes with extras such as 2 technologies and removable mouths. The magnetic charging is one thing I don’t need. Although it sounds great, I found it difficult to use the magnetic charging. Also, do I really need to bring up what’s wrong with the name?

Some things to be aware of that I personally did not experience but found while researching are issues with power not increasing, product not working overtime, product not turning on, or just a product that doesn’t work for everyone.

Lelo Sona 2 Cruise

★★★★

The most defining features of the Lelo Sona 2 Cruise are the patented Cruise Control technology, the fluttering sensation it provides, and the fact that it’s incredibly easy to clean.

Its Cruise Control technology is what really sets it apart from other competitors such as Womanizer Premium. It stores 20% of the toy’s full charge and releases it when the toy is pressed against a body part. This ensures that the toy doesn’t lose power when you’re climaxing. Do you remember when battery-powered vibrators died during masturbation? You’ll never have to experience that trauma again. Thanks to Cruise Control technology, I fully understand what Lelo means by “toe-curling” pleasure.

Sona’s pulses seem more fluid than the beats of Womanizer. It begins slowly and persists, and depending on your strength preference can get very intense. There are 12 pleasure settings and a range of strength levels. No matter what clit sucker you’re using, start on the lowest setting and work your way up as long as you’re comfortable and it continues to feel good.

Warning: TMI. But what kind of reviewer would I be if I didn’t reveal personal details! Sona was my first test. I squirted it in less than a minute the first time. It was confusing because it was my fastest cum with a toy and the first time that I had ever squirted. This is probably due to the smaller mouth, which is more focused on the clit. That being said, Sona could be too intense for a beginner or someone who doesn’t want to experience an orgasmic explosion. The more you use it, the more you’ll understand how the pulsations affect your body, but the orgasms keep getting better.

This toy isn’t the most ideal for partnered-sex in positions where the bodies are against one another, like missionary. I would recommend that you include the toy if your clit has not been harmed. The toy also isn’t “whisper-quiet” as advertised, but again, won’t be heard through the walls.

? Definition Features

  • Cruise Control technology
  • Fluttering sensations are more common
  • Simple to clean

? Pros:

  • Feel deeper in the clitoris
  • A smaller mouth allows for more precise stimulation
  • Design that is ergonomically designed to fit well with the body
  • Waterproof 100%
  • 12 different pleasure settings
  • 1-year warranty, 10-year guarantee on quality

? Cons:

  • Not quiet
  • It is difficult to fit between the bodies
  • Could lead to too rapid an orgasm

Overall Winner

Although both toys share many similarities, Sona is more adept at using the air pulse technology at a lower cost. Aside from the whole squirting incident, the fact that the toy won’t lose power when I orgasm is a major bonus.
